“The Harsh Truth!”

Life – a book tagged as strugglers’ dreams,

Unworthy to the dark creams…!

Not a bed of roses to the sole being,

That deems to be a sweetmeat for the ferocious kings!

Life ain’t lenient to the laborers’ ménage,

But kinda most merciful to the cruel savage!

It gets crooked for the honest creatures,

And seems a little straightforward for the unscrupulous.

Life- disguised as the deity for the immature child,

Nevertheless a demon to the grown-up wild!

A deep sea with engulfing waves & fierce depth,

With masked phizog and cooked up brains;

I wish if it was a converse of that!

My subconscious asks me to stop my horses,

But I summoned my mind to express the thoughts;

Which jinxed me to the core making me ponder

Oh! How cruel the life is!
